Hands-on class at Gem City Catfe from local florist, Poppy Faye Floral, teaching attendees about flower arrangements, including making your own arrangement to bring home. We'll also cover pet safety with plants such as which plants are toxic for pets and symptoms of toxicity so you can get to a vet if observed!
The goal of Gem City Catfé is to foster positive interactions between cats and people, in an expectation free environment. This is a win-win situation. People get a super cool place to hang out with cats. Cats are able to avoid being in a shelter, socialize, and find families.
We will have a cafe space with an espresso bar separated from the cat lounge. Our cat lounge will be home to 12 feline friends from our rescue partner, Gem City Kitties. We also plan to have a separate event space for activities which may be booked on our website.
