We need your help to enable Gem City Kitties to hit the ground running in 2021.

Like many organizations, Gem City Kitties, the 501(c)3 non-profit partnered with Gem City Catfe, has had a tough year. The various stay-at-home orders took a serious toll on the Gem City Catfe’s operations and finances, which in turn impacted the services Gem City Kitties was able to perform for cats in the Dayton region. Upcoming projects such as Gem City Vet, as well as existing programs like the successful TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) training and services, were put on hold. The longer the coronavirus pandemic continued, the wider the funding gap became - eventually causing a 40% deficit compared to last year.

In 2019, Gem City Kitties helped 235 cats find their forever homes and funded 285 spay/neuter surgeries for community cats.

In 2020, we only had the resources to provide 130 spay/neuter surgeries for community cats, due to closing our TNR program for the remainder of the year in March. Our team worked tirelessly to help 231 cats find families, despite having our adoption program closed for several months.

This year has been financially and emotionally straining and we need your help to recover and start strong in 2021. We want to do more for Dayton’s cats next year.

Our fundraising goal is $20,000 by December 31st. Will you help us bridge this financial gap and get back on track?
