In this show, Ashley explores a plethora of ideas in the way of bright colors and whimsy. From decadent desserts to fun characters and creatures, her work is driven by the beauty of life and the ability to make every day extraordinary.

About ashley
Originally from the Dayton area, Ashley Donahue is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with years of professional experience. Whether it’s creating digital works or acrylic canvas paintings, art has been and remains Ashley’s lifeblood.
Since childhood Ashley was always the “art” kid – she was constantly imagining fantasy lands and coming up with magical ideas. The pursuit of creatng artwork brought her an immense amount of joy, as did the positive responses evoked from her peers.
Ashley continues to be inspired mainly by nature and everyday life. Lately, she has really been enjoying drawing different kinds of food – observing up close what might ordinarily get overlooked (and eaten)! In addition, Ashley also loves exploring the ideas of whimsical critters and magical girls in her pieces.
To date, Ashley attends many craft shows and conventions to showcase her work and portfolio. She considers it a great honor and joy to share her creations with others!
